First Rolling Stone Magazine Cover

Adam appeared on the cover of the Rolling Stone magazine's June 2009 edition under the sub-title "The Liberation of Adam Lambert | Wild Idol", posing with a green snake also seen in his "For Your Entertainment" music video.

In the interview, he officially came out as gay to the mass public and the media (having been out since the age of 18).

That Rolling Stone issue became the best-seller for 2009.

You can read the whole article on the Rolling Stone's website.

You can find the original cover image online, for example on the NY Daily News website.
